These Universities Have Postponed Back to School Dates

Promped by the recent sporadic outbreaks in various regions and extreme temperatures in China, some universities have postponed back to school dates. Below is a list of some of the universities that we have received confirmation so far.
Hainan Province
Hainan University has announced that it has postponed the back to school date and offline registering time for the upcoming semester. The date was set at August 22, but now it has been changed to September 3. Classes for all students will start online as the original set date (i.e. August 22).
Hainan Normal University also announced that online classes will begin for all students on August 29. Back to school dates and offline registration for new students is set at September 12, while for the old students its set at September 5 to 6.
Hainan Medical University will begin online classes for all students on August 22. New students are expected to report back to school and register offline on September 4, old students are expected to do so on September 3.
Guangdong Province
Guangzhou International Economics College has adjusted the reporting and offline registration date for new students to September 11. Students enrolled in the 2020 and 2021 school year can report back to school and register offline on September 3 to 4. The returning dates for teaching staff remains unchanged.
Due to extreme temperatures and Covid cases, the South China Business Trade College has adjusted the time to return to school by college staff to August 19, while students can report and register offline at school from August 23-24.
Guangzhou Huaxia Vocational College have postponed the return to school date to September 11 for new students, there are no changes to others.
Jilin Province
Changchun University of Science and Technology has postponed return to school dates and offline registration from August 15 to August 27-28.
Changchun Guanghua University has also announced that online classes will begin on August 22, and the return to school date and offline registration will be postponed by two weeks.
